KAREN wiki highlights, recent updates and cool stuff you should know about for October 2009.
The KAREN wiki is a collaborative space where members of the KAREN community share ideas and resources that help them to make the most of their access to KAREN.
At the end of each month we are highlighting recent and interesting case studies, facts and updates from the KAREN wiki. If you have content to add, you too can make a contribution by signing up for a wiki account.
Many members, including the University of Waikato, are using video conferencing to bring in experts to classes, enriching students' learning experiences. You can find more information about how the University of Waikato are using KAREN at http://www.wiki.karen.net.nz/index.php/University_of_Waikato
In 2008 REANNZ supported core KAREN Members to establish a dedicated KAREN Champion to advocate for and drive the use of KAREN-enabled tools, services and techniques within their organisation. Following the completion of the programme, REANNZ held interviews with the Champions to gather feedback and assess the success of the programme. Your feedback on the report is welcomed.
For those of you more technically inclined, this category on the wiki is all about technical information on KAREN networking, including training and trouble-shooting resources and configurations.
