Video conferencing is revolutionising the way people are communicating over distance. Like with any new enabling technology, there are learnings and challenges to be had along the way. This session will provide advice on how to get the best from your video conferencing experience, from room set-ups and managing technology failures to VC etiquette.
Richard Bishop from IP Communications and Robyn White from the Social Science Research Centre at the University of Canterbury will present helpful hints and tips on running a video conference.
Richard will also provide technical advice on configuring Mirial desktop video conferencing software.

You can participate in the conference by dialling 210.7.46.10 into your desktop video conferencing client or video conferencing endpoint. Once you reach the blue video conferencing bridge screen enter the conference ID 4000# (make sure you include the #), or navigate to the conference 'Video conferencing setup'.
Or you can watch the stream of the conference by entering 210.7.46.10 into your browser. Enter the conference ID: 4000. Choose your streaming viewer. Leave all other fields blank.
