David Thorns and his team at the University of Canterbury invite KAREN members to participate in an online survey on the user experience of video conferencing.
Remote collaboration via video conferencing has become well established for some groups and individuals in the tertiary research sectors. Although access and use remains highly variable, for some meeting in virtual spaces has become a routine part of their research life.
As part of REANNZ/BRCSS funded research, our e-research team is conducting a brief on-line survey about user experience of video conferencing services over KAREN. Results will contribute to other data gathering around the constraints and enablers of the capability building potential of remote collaborative technologies.
We would like to invite members of your group to participate, whether they use video conferencing or not.
The survey comprises both multiple-choice and short answer questions. It should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
All responses are collected anonymously. Quantitative data will be aggregated. This project has been reviewed and approved by the University of Canterbury Human Ethics Committee.
