Today's NZHerald reveals the Minister of Education is to reaffirm the Government's commitment to high-speed internet access for all schools today at the ULearn conference.
In an article in the NZHerald this morning, Minister of Education Ann Tolley is said to be calling for the education system to "fully commit to the digital age" during her speech at the ULearn conference in Christchurch.
The article states this may include an extension of the National Education Network trial being run over KAREN.
We understand the Minister will make a formal announcement on the extension of the trial next week.
