REANNZ has signed its first two international partnership agreements with National Lambda Rail (http://www.nlr.net/) and Internet2 (http://www.internet2.edu/) in the USA. These memoranda of understanding (MoU) will enable New Zealand researchers and educators on these networks to interact and collaboarate seamlessly.

These MoU provide for KAREN, National Lambda Rail and Internet2 networks to interconnect, opening up a huge number of potential North American partners for Kiwi institutions.
