The National Library of New Zealand Te Puna Maatauranga o Aotearoa has just released its New Generation National Library strategy. The strategy firmly places the National Library in a leadership position in embracing a digital future and includes the development of a National Digital Library as one of three delivery channels.
Of the first year's focus areas, almost half relate specifically to digital activities - including leveraging their Membership of KAREN.
It is exciting to have a member of our community so firmly base their future around the opportunities of easy and seamless access to information delivered to users wherever thy are.
