KAREN2 Architecture Plan released

KAREN2 is the project to develop the next version of KAREN beginning in late 2013.  It is designed to position KAREN as a long-term infrastructure-based network capable of meeting the needs of the community over a 20-year period at a significantly lower cost per unit bandwidth.

There has been a lot of activity in the last six months with schools joining KAREN.  You can find the full list of KAREN Members here.

The National Education Network trial extension connected up two loops this year; the Mid Canterbury Loop with 23 schools and re-connected the Nelson Marlborough Loop’s 28 schools.

REANNZ Job Vacancies
