AARNet with support from NMI-EDIT (Internet2 and EDUCAUSE) and the Asia Pacific Advanced Network (APAN) Middleware Working Group will hold an Ozeconference/information primer for the APAN community on identity management. This is the first of three sessions on this topic. This first presentation takes place via video conference or web cast at 9.00am Australian Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday 30 May 2007. The presentation will cover the following areas:

Two further sessions are planned to take place in June and July covering US case studies and implementation and Academic, Research and Education Network (AREN) case studies and implementation.
The audience for this Ozeconference is Directors, Senior Managers, IT Administrators and anyone with an interest in identity access management and middleware within ARENs, universities and research organisations.
Michael Berman is the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Michael has spoken at EDUCAUSE events in the management/introductory context a number of times and is well versed on identity management.
