Chair receives REANNZ CEO's resignation

REANNZ Chair Janine Smith, has announced the resignation of Dianna Taylor REANNZ CEO, who will be leaving REANNZ at the beginning of June 2021.

“Through her leadership, knowledge and enthusiasm, Dianna has made a large and positive contribution to REANNZ since her appointment. This has ensured that the organisation is well positioned to meet the needs of New Zealand’s research, science and innovation sectors. The Board and the REANNZ team will miss Dianna but understand her personal circumstances and wish her well.”

Dianna joined REANNZ during an important time of change and development for the organisation.

“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here at REANNZ, most of all working with our members and the wider research, science and innovation sector. I am proud to have worked alongside a community that is so passionate and committed.

I am also proud of the commitment that the team and Board of REANNZ have shown towards REANNZ’s development as an organisation that is focused on member engagement and effective delivery. This has ensured that REANNZ is well positioned to continue to support and enable the sector going forward.”

In the interim, Neil Fenemor, REANNZ Technology and Architecture Manager, will serve as Acting CEO while the Board complete a recruitment process.
