New Zealand partners in network and applications research sought

The National Information Society Agency (NIA) in Korea has issued an invitation for international partners in network technology and applications research and working groups.

Research partnerships 

New Zealand researchers interested in collaborating with Korean researchers and institutions utilising TEIN2 and the APII (Asia-Pacific Information Infrastructure) testbed have the chance to participate in joint projects.

Projects that were funded year last include:

  • Future Internet Mesh-based Access Network
  • Telemedicine Application Servic
  • IPTV Overlay Multicast Application
  • High-Energy Data Grid
  • WiBro Terminal and Services
  • u-Media Transmission and Collaboration System
  • Safety support for MIPv6 network
  • Physics working group
  • eLearning working group

Technology partnerships

NIA is also looking for international partners to test future internet technologies, equipment and devices, such as IP-USN, WSN, traffic measurement.
