Nominations and approvals process

Awardees are either chosen by REANNZ directly, or can be nominated by the KAREN community.

Complete the form below to nominate a person for a KAREN award.

Send completed nomination forms to Vicki Lindsay, Communications Specialist, REANNZ (vicki.lindsay (at) reannz.co.nz)

There is no closing date for nominations.  Applications will be treated on an ad hoc basis.

Nominations for the KAREN Enabler and Champion level awards are considered by REANNZ management. Nominations for KAREN Fellow will be considered by the REANNZ Board.

The award will be presented at a time and place determined by REANNZ.

Eligibility and exclusions

Nominators and nominees must be current or past members of the KAREN community. This includes people from service and content providers, KAREN partners and international NRENs.

Only nominations for individuals will be accepted. Nominations can not be made for organisations or groups.

Self-nominations will not be accepted.

Current REANNZ staff and Directors are ineligible for nomination.
