From the 1-3 December 2008, Edinburgh plays host to the 4th International Digital Curation Conference, whose theme is ‘Radical Sharing: Transforming Science?’

Day 2: The innovations possible through radical data sharing such as the Open Notebook Science experiment will be discussed, with day two offering a ‘minute madness’ session of poster presentations.
Edinburgh’s Digital Curation Centre exists to help store, manage and protect digital items from technological obsolescence and from the fragility of digital media, to preserve long-term access and promote best practice on a global level.
