MAMS and AAF are hosting a free 2-day Federation Workshop at Macquarie University in Sydney. The workshop is aimed at providing background and necessary skills for minigrant recipients (and others) to contribute their projects to the AAF. It covers technical information and guidance for participants to join the Shibboleth-based MAMS Testbed Federation.

There are some limited spaces available for non-minigrant recipients to attend the workshop, hence if you know any colleagues who would like to attend, forward them this message and ask them to register (first come, first go).

Objectives of this hands-on workshop:

  • participants will be able to Shibbolize service providers by themselves
  • participants will be able to setup and manage their Identity Provider
  • discussions on issues pertinent to AAF from perspective of Identity Provider and Service Provider

The intended audience is technical architects and developers at higher education and research institutions, in particular the members of institutions who received recent AAF minigrants.

The first day will focus on the Shibboleth component of AAF with the second day on discussions on different approaches and problem solving.
