REANNZ's Capability Build Fund supports our core members to build capability and awareness of KAREN. The Capability Build Fund is a $4.8m fund (excl GST) provided by the Ministry of Research, Science and Technology over three years to 2009.
As part of their ongoing commitment to the research and education sectors, and their partnering relationship with REANNZ, TelstraClear has committed $500,000 to the Government's Capability Build Fund. To date three projects from the first round of the Capability Build Project Fund have received funding of $250,000. The remaining funds will be allocated to new projects in late 2009.
The 2009 Capability Build Fund round closed on 4 May 2009. This round sought applications for projects, events or travel that will help increase and promote the use of KAREN. This is final full round of the CBF.
