We are excited to bring you Peter Helms from BlueFern at the University of Canterbury. Advanced computing and networking are natural companions in the global age of eResearch.

Peter will lead this video conference which will introduce you to the BlueFern supercomputing and eResearch services facility. The presentation will include:

• an introduction to BlueFern and supercomputing
• examples of exciting research projects and applications using supercomputing
• eResearch services capabilities at BlueFern enabled by KAREN
• outline of BlueFern's international research partnerships

You can participate in the conference by dialling 210.7.46.10 into your desktop video conferencing client or video conferencing endpoint. Once you reach the blue video conferencing bridge screen enter the conference ID 4002# (make sure you include the #).

Or you can watch the stream of the conference by entering 210.7.46.10 into your browser. Enter the conference ID: 4002. Choose your streaming viewer. Leave all other fields blank.
