Virtual organisations, entities linked by electronic communication tools to support collaborative relationships in distributed work environments, are increasingly central to collaborative projects across all disciplines.

BEVO will help researchers and educators learn how to establish virtual teams and make them successful, and will introduce current technologies that can help them function effectively.

The plenary sessions of the workshop will be Webcast. Sessions begin at 8:00am on 15 January. Note: New Zealand is 18 hours ahead of Washington, which makes for a 2:00am start on the 16th NZ time. For those of you in bed at this time recorded plenary sessions will be accessible 24 hours after the workshop.
