Watch a free virtual seminar on Astrophysics data exploration and visualisation using advanced technologies.
On Tuesday 12 May 2009, the BlueFern supercomputing facility at the University of Canterbury bring you Dr Claudio Gheller from CINECA, Bologna, ltaly. While visiting the University of Canterbury, Dr Gheller will give a virtual seminar on data exploration and visualisation using advanced technologies. You are invited to watch the stream of the seminar.
Astrophysics data exploration and visualisation
Dr Gheller will introduce and describe the solutions adopted in a collaboration between CINECA and the Italian National Institute for Astrophysics (INAF) in order to develop a new generation of graphic software tools. These tools are designed to overcome the limits and barriers of traditional software by exploiting the latest technological opportunities.
