Trip Report: APAN23 Manila, January 2003

Donald Clark and Julie Watson from REANNZ and Paul Bonnington from University of Auckland attended the 23rd Asia Pacific Advanced Networks meeting in Manila.  The meeting offered a chance to:

• absorb the latest applications and technical development on NRENs internationally
• renew and make fresh connections with people in other countries that will be valuable to KAREN's development and the success of our members
• refine our plans for a series of July workshops and our hosting of APAN26 in August 2008.

It provides a succint summary of the important sessions, side meetings and general APAN protocols.  It contains a number of actions and suggestions of New Zealand collaboration that we will be following up on - but Members are encouraged to be pro-active!
