Framework

The framework for travel and events below has been developed by the Capability Build Advisory Panel.

Education

Activities such as:

  • Tutorials and/or demonstrator projects to raise awareness of the capabilities of a Research and Education Network
  • Training sessions to develop specific new skills
  • Bringing overseas expertise to New Zealand
  • Attendance at appropriate conferences, workshops or camps

All education activities will be expected to be accessible by most relevant members of the research and education community. For example, tutorials and overseas expertise should move about the country, overseas event attendance should result in the distribution of a report setting out relevant knowledge for New Zealand.

The KAREN website and wiki will support the distribution of information and knowledge.
