Yesterday AARNet, the Australian advanced network, celebrated 20 years of the Internet in Australia. This milestone is celebrated in a fantastic video produced for the occasion.
AARNet, Australia’s academic and research network and the founder of the Internet in Australia, celebrated their 20th anniversary on 26 November 2009. As part of the launch event for a book commemorating the occasion (AARNet - 20 Years of the Internet in Australia), AARNet showed a fantastic video showcasing the use of the network across disciplines:
